About Us

The Walkerton Film Society is a project designed to bring individuals from the surronding area together to share the wonders and exciement of film's which they do not have the access to. Based around a strang theotretical approach to film history, the Walkerton Film Society is both a means to access and explore great films but also a forum from which to learn about film history. It simply would not be enough for us to show the films, we on the other hand will dedicate ourselves to making sure that every person walks away from a film with a knowledge of it's significance as an individual piece of work but also where it is located on the timeline of film history. Part community gathering and part history lesson, the Walkerton Film Society is a gift to the film lover in all of you.
